On Wednesday, February 15, 2006, I spoke to the monthly meeting of the Editors’ Association of Canada, B.C. Branch, about how to build yourself a website in 15 minutes or less. (Actually, I managed it in 11 minutes, so I did it a total of three times using three different tools.)
I talk about blogs, and how domain servers are like phone books, and why Search Engine Optimization isn’t too useful, and why it’s better to hack yourself out a blog than to try to get your website perfect and never actually update it.
The MP3 file is about 14 MB, and lasts about 1 hour and 23 minutes. It contains no music at all. Enjoy.
